A month following Emma's fall through a plate glass window, and Jameson's arrest for assault, we find Emma at her mothers' Palm Springs house miserable and wanting to go home.When Josie, Emma's bff sends word that someone is posting stalker-like photos of the Belle Mere crew on Instagram, Emma realizes that most of the photos are from the night Nathaniel West was murdered.
When Jameson shows up unannounced and unexpectedly at Emma's mom's house, Emma is both overjoyed to see him, and worried that his being out of state could be problematic. However, just like her father, Emma's mom is not happy to see Jameson and does everything, including trying to convince Emma to stay in California for the year, to keep the two apart.
What the reader finds out later on in the story is the real reason behind Emma's family's hatred of Nathaniel West. Though once you get enough information, it was a bit predictable.
Things at Emma's moms' become unbearable and Emma runs back home to Vegas with Jameson leading the way.
Once home, the story takes a bit of a weird turn. Josie, whom Emma had been staying with, up and turns on her, the police now think Emma is the number one suspect, and timing of certain actions seems off.
While this is a great second edition to the series, due to a lack of editing, this story didn't flow as well as it should have. Words were missing, there were wrong tenses used and there were periods in the middle of sentences.
But aside from that, Jameson and Emma are stronger than ever. Can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

Intense!! Cannot stop reading!! Keeps you guessing the entire way through. I usually spoil the fun by guessing ahead and usually turns out I'm right, but I have been wrong so far and still keep surprising me!
Just when I thought there couldn't be anymore suspense, drama or chaos, things just got waaay more interesting. Geneva you have me wanting more and more and I'm simply going stir crazy for "All Fall Down".
OMG!!!!! Geneva Lee does it again!!! She throws the fishing line and hooks you right from the beginning!!!
Talk about intrigue and mystery at every corner!! She pulls every trick out of the bag, and BOOM it's like a fireworks show!!!!
This is book 2 in the Gilt series. Twists and turns. Love and angst. I can not wait for the rest if you like murder and mystery, love and sex, secrets and lies. Then this is for you!!!! Just when you think you know what is going on.... bam!!! Love this series!!!!
I love Emma and Jameson and Josie and I can't wait to figure out what is going on. I hate that Emma's life has been so hard, but it's definitely made her who she is, and she's awesome. She seems real and hasn't let the fake lifestyle get to her.
I need to keep reading. I have my theories...
Although this isn't my favourite series by this author, I was determined to finish all the books in it. This one had a bit of everything and the suspense is there for sure. With the murder investigation still on as to who killed Jameson's father, more and more comes to light. Emma discovers more about her sister too. The story is very involved and quite complex but for me, sadly, it still wasn't quite to my liking.
After reading the first book in the Gilt Series, By Invitation Only, I knew I had to continue with the rest of the series. I noticed this ebook was on sale on & bought it right away. This book was just as good as the first, if not better. I could not put it down. Every chance I got I was reading. I love the chemistry between Jameson & Emma. They've only known each other for a short time but in that time they have grown very close & their relationship has blossomed. & once again this book reminds me of a sort of Gossip Girl like novel, especially with "The Dealer". Some things in the novel shocked me while others I sort of saw coming. But once again the author captured me with every scene, every chapter, every sentence & every word. I loved both the romance & the mystery. Over all it was a really good book & I can't wait to read the next one.
