Her artwork has been exhibited in the U.S. Capitol House, galleries in the U.S., the Dallas Museum of Art, and in public exhibitions in Buenos Aires, Tokyo, Seoul, Bali and Bangkok.

What a wonderful idea to have a book full of drawings, paintings and a poem, based on the tango! Mong-Lan's paintings are lush and evocative with only a few brushstrokes, and suggest dancers lovingly passionately dancing across the page!
In Force of the Heart Tango, Art, Mong-Lan found a way to, artistically and aesthetically represent the fluidity of movement in the dance of Argentine Tango, drawing from the art of Japanese calligraphy among other elements. Enjoying the paintings and drawings on this book requires time. If you take the time to observe and appreciate those drawings, you will notice how each image reveals that manifestation of movement, and that fluidity Mong-Lan writes about in the Preface of her book.
